Chief Clinical Officer
Originally from Wyoming, Shawna Chandler, MSW, LCSW, serves as the chief clinical officer, offering our team and clients 27 years of experience in the addiction and mental health industry as well as 15 years of leadership experience.
Shawna completed her master’s degree at Florida State University and began specializing in clinical social work. Having realized her passion for helping those suffering addiction or mental illness early on, Shawna began her journey by providing clinical service to diverse populations in rural communities and residential treatment centers. She is also a certified school social worker and utilizes this training and experience when working with adolescents and families. Shawna is dedicated to providing high-quality care to meet the unique needs of clients and their families. With extensive training in trauma, EMDR, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, family-focused therapy, mindfulness, and internal family systems therapy, Shawna provides our clinical team with intuitive, expert training and supervision.
Beyond her professional experience and training, Shawna leverages her personal experience of family addiction and trauma when working with professionals, clients, and families. With compassionate acceptance, she effectively helps clients and families heal from addiction and become whole again.
